This Minecraft tutorial explains how to craft a moss block with screenshots and step-by-step instructions.

How to get a Moss Block in Survival Mode
You can add a moss block to your inventory in Survival mode by finding a moss block and gathering it. So, let's get started!
1. Find a Moss Block
First, you need to find a moss block in the game. Moss blocks are found underground in the Lush Caves biome.
This is what a moss block looks like:
2. Break the Moss Block
The game control to break the moss block depends on the version of Minecraft:
- For Java Edition (PC/Mac), left click and hold on the moss block.
- For Pocket Edition (PE), you tap and hold on the moss block.
- For Xbox One, press and hold the RT button on the Xbox controller.
- For PS4, press and hold the R2 button on the PS controller.
- For Nintendo Switch, press and hold the ZR button on the controller.
- For Windows 10 Edition, left click and hold on the moss block.
- For Education Edition, left click and hold on the moss block.
The moss block will break and a smaller moss block will float on the ground.
3. Pick up the Moss Block
Make sure you pick up the moss block before it disappears.
Once you pick up the moss block, it will appear in your hotbar.
Moss blocks are useful items and should be kept in your inventory to be used later.
