How to get Mangrove Leaves in Survival Mode

You can add mangrove leaves to your inventory in Survival mode by finding mangrove trees growing in a Mangrove Swamp biome and then trimming the leaves from the tree with a pair of shears. So let's get started!

1. Find a Mangrove Tree

First, you need to find a mangrove tree in your Minecraft world. Mangrove trees are found in the Mangrove Swamp biome.

2. Hold your Shears

Next, place your shears in your hand by selecting them in your hotbar.

Position your pointer (the plus sign) on the mangrove leaves of the tree. You should see the block of mangrove leaves become highlighted in your game window.

3. Use the Shears

Next, use the shears on the mangrove leaves to cut them from the mangrove tree. The game control to use the shears on the mangrove leaves depends on the version of Minecraft:

For Java Edition (PC/Mac), left click and hold on the mangrove leaves.
For Pocket Edition (PE), you tap and hold on the mangrove leaves.
