How to get Deepslate Coal Ore in Survival Mode

You can add deepslate coal ore to your inventory in Survival mode by mining deepslate coal ore with a pickaxe that is enchanted with Silk Touch. So, let's get started!

1. Find a Block of Deepslate Coal Ore

First, let's explore where to find deepslate coal ore. You can usually find deepslate coal ore in the new cave systems that are deep underground and below a y-coordinate of 0.

Other tools will not dig up the deepslate coal ore and let you add it to your inventory.

3. Mine the Deepslate Coal Ore

The game control to mine the deepslate coal ore depends on the version of Minecraft:

For Java Edition (PC/Mac), left click and hold on the deepslate coal ore.
