How to get Cherry Leaves in Survival Mode

You can add cherry leaves to your inventory in Survival mode by trimming the leaves from a cherry tree with a pair of shears. So, let's get started!

1. Find a Cherry Tree

First, you need to find a cherry tree in your Minecraft world. Cherry trees are found in the Cherry Grove biome.

2. Hold your Shears

Next, place the shears in your hand by selecting them in the hotbar.

Position your pointer (the plus sign) on the cherry leaves of the tree. You should see the block of cherry leaves become highlighted in your game window.

3. Use the Shears

Next, use the shears on the cherry leaves to cut them from the cherry tree.

The game control to use the shears on the cherry leaves depends on the version of Minecraft:

For Java Edition (PC/Mac), left click and hold on the cherry leaves.
For Pocket Edition (PE), you tap and hold on the cherry leaves.
For Xbox One, press and hold the RT button on the Xbox controller.
For PS4, press and hold the R2 button on the PS controller.
For Nintendo Switch, press and hold the ZR button on the controller.
For Windows 10 Edition, left click and hold on the cherry leaves.
