How to get Azalea Leaves in Survival Mode

In Minecraft, you can add azalea leaves to your inventory in Survival mode by trimming the leaves from an azalea tree with a pair of shears. So, let's get started!

1. Find an Azalea Tree

First, you need to find an azalea tree in your Minecraft world. Azalea trees are usually found above ground in the Lush Caves biome.

2. Hold your Shears

Next, place your shears in your hand by selecting them in the hotbar.

Position your pointer (the plus sign) on the azalea leaves of the tree. You should see the block of azalea leaves become highlighted in your game window.

3. Use the Shears

Next, use the shears on the azalea leaves to cut them from the azalea tree.

The game control to use the shears on the azalea leaves depends on the version of Minecraft:

For Java Edition (PC/Mac), left click and hold on the azalea leaves.
For Pocket Edition (PE), you tap and hold on the azalea leaves.
For Xbox One, press and hold the RT button on the Xbox controller.
For PS4, press and hold the R2 button on the PS controller.
For Nintendo Switch, press and hold the ZR button on the controller.
