In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3x3 crafting grid. To make bamboo mosaic, place 2 bamboo slabs in the 3x3 crafting grid.

When making bamboo mosaic, it is important that the bamboo slabs are placed in the exact pattern as the image below. In the first row, there should be 1 bamboo slab in the second box.
