How to craft a Block of Bamboo in Survival Mode
1. Open the Crafting Menu
First, open your crafting table so that you have the 3x3 crafting grid that looks like this:

When making a block of bamboo, it is important that the bamboo are placed in the exact pattern as the image below. There should be 3 bamboo in the first row, 3 bamboo in the second row, and 3 bamboo in the third row. This should fill all of the boxes in the crafting grid. This is the Minecraft crafting recipe for a block of bamboo.
Now that you have filled the crafting area with the correct pattern, the block of bamboo will appear in the box to the right.
3. Move the Block of Bamboo to Inventory
