Example of how to Enchant a Chestplate
You can enchant a chestplate that you are holding by using the /enchant command.
For example, you can use the /enchant command to enchant the chestplate that the player called DigMinecraft is holding with Protection IV.
/enchant DigMinecraft protection 4
In this example, protection is the name of the enchantment and 4 is the level of the enchantment to add. The command would result in the chestplate held by DigMinecraft to be enchanted with Protection IV. This enchantment would provide comprehensive protection against damage from attacks, fire, lava, and falling.
