Background
The following is a picture of what a pillager looks like in Minecraft:
Hostility Level (Hostile)
A pillager is a hostile mob. The term mob is short for mobile and is used to refer to all living, moving creatures in the game such as chickens, creepers, and pillagers. Because a pillager is a hostile mob, it will attack you in Survival mode but not Creative mode.
Health Points
In Minecraft, a pillager has 12 hearts for health. This gives a pillager 24 health points (because 1 heart = 2 health points). To kill a pillager, you need to inflict 24 points of damage to the pillager.
Where to Find Pillagers
Pillagers can be found in the Overworld usually near villages where they will raid the villages and attack the villagers.
If you are having trouble finding a pillager, you can summon a pillager using a cheat or you can use a spawn egg.
Weapon
The pillager is armed with a crossbow and arrows as a weapon.
Attack Method
In Minecraft, a pillager uses a crossbow to shoot arrows at you from a distance making it tougher to kill.
Drops
When you kill a pillager in Minecraft, it may drop an emerald. And sometimes, a pillager may drop the crossbow that it is holding.
Make sure you pick up the dropped items before they disappear. These are useful and should be kept in your inventory to be used later.
Experience Points
As you play the game, you will gain experience. The most common way to gain experience is by killing mobs. When a mob is killed you will see tiny green and yellow balls appear and move towards you.
These orbs represent experience points. When you kill a pillager, you will gain around 5-15 experience points.
