It is available in the Chemistry Update for Minecraft Education Edition and has also been added to Minecraft Pocket Edition, Windows 10, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch (if you enable the Education Edition chemistry features in your world).

How to craft Mercuric Chloride
1. Open the Compound Creator Menu
First, open your compound creator so that you have the Compound Creator menu that looks like this:
2. Add Items to make Mercuric Chloride
In the Compound Creator menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3x3 grid. To make Mercuric Chloride, place 1 Mercury and 2 Chlorine in the 3x3 grid.
When crafting Mercuric Chloride, you can place the elements anywhere in the grid and you will get the same result. In this example, we have placed 1 Mercury and 2 Chlorine in the second row. This is the Minecraft crafting recipe for the compound called Mercuric Chloride which has the chemical formula of HgCl2.
Now that you have filled the crafting area with the correct elements, the Mercuric Chloride will appear in the output box on the right.
3. Move the Mercuric Chloride to Inventory
Once you have crafted Mercuric Chloride, you need to move the new item to your inventory.
