Required Materials to make a Blue Bed
In Minecraft, these are the materials you can use to craft a blue bed:
TIP: You can use any type of wood plank! You don't have to gather them all.
How to craft a Blue Bed in Survival Mode
1. Open the Crafting Menu
First, open your crafting table so that you have the 3x3 crafting grid that looks like this:
2. Add Items to make a Blue Bed
In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3x3 crafting grid. To make a blue bed, you will need to place specific items in the grid. It is important that the items are placed in the exact pattern as our example images. Changing the pattern of boxes that are filled will change the item that is crafted.
There are 2 patterns you can use as a crafting recipe for a blue bed:
Pattern 1
There should be 3 blue wool in the first row and 3 wood planks in the second row.
Pattern 2
In the first row, there should be 1 white bed in the first box and 1 blue dye in the second box.
TIP: When crafting a blue bed with wood planks, you can use any kind of wood planks, such as
oak,
spruce,
birch,
jungle,
acacia,
dark oak,
crimson, or
warped planks. In our example, we are using oak planks.
Now that you have filled the crafting area with the correct pattern, the blue bed will appear in the box to the right.
3. Move the Blue Bed to Inventory
Once you have crafted a blue bed, you need to move the new item to your inventory.
Congratulations, you have made a blue bed in Minecraft!
